Johann brings a wealth of knowledge to the table when it comes to accounting systems and financial best practices. He has an inherent need to make processes as efficient as possible and simplify companies’ financial systems.

Having started his career at Baker Tilly Greenwoods in Cape Town, he obtained exposure to a broad range of industries and accounting software. He travelled the world while working for Deloitte Cayman Islands and Deloitte Netherlands before returning to South Africa to gain valuable experience as Head of Finance of a professional services company.

Johann picked up ties with Willem and joined CBS Konsult to provide world-class outsourced financial solutions to our clients wherever they may be situated on the globe.

Willem can be described as a serial entrepreneur with a thirst for growing and improving SMEs. As the founder of CBS Konsult Willem saw early on the value which South African Chartered and Professional accountants can offer small and medium sized business owners locally and internationally.

Shortly after completing his traineeship with Baker Tilly Greenwoods, Cape Town Willem became a business owner and realised the hard realities which business owners face on a daily basis. If you do not have accurate, real-time financial information at your fingertips, you can’t effectively run your business. Hence CBS Konsult was founded in 2017 to provide business owners that financial business partner they need.

In his free time Willem forces Hannie to run the Comrades Marathon, kiteboard or partake in any other crazy endurance event with him.

Leeme’ is the newly appointed Practice Manager at CBS Konsult. With experience at PwC South Africa and BDO Netherlands, she brings international insight, strong leadership, and a passion for building scalable systems that support sustainable growth. She holds BAccounting and BAccounting Honours degrees from the University of Stellenbosch, and completed her articles at PwC Stellenbosch, working with clients across industries, from small businesses to listed entities. She plays a key role in designing efficient internal processes and ensures clients receive real value – not just compliance. Her sharp intuition and attention to detail help turn regulatory requirements into strategic advantages.

Leeme’ also leads CBS Konsult’s SAIPA traineeship programme, developing smart training tools and SOPs to shape capable, well-rounded professional accountants. Her collaborative approach and belief that “we are better together” drive both people and performance. When she’s not leading teams or optimising systems, you’ll find her running, hiking, or spending quality time with friends or family.

Pieter is a dedicated accounting professional with a robust educational foundation and diverse experience in the field. He earned his Bachelor of Accounting degree from the University of Stellenbosch and completed his postgraduate diploma in Accounting Sciences (CTA level 2) through UNISA. After finishing his SAICA articles in 2021, he transitioned into an Assistant Manager role, where he honed his leadership skills.

Pieter later served as a Financial Accountant, where he managed financial operations and contributed to strategic financial decision-making. Currently, as a Manager at CBS Konsult, he combines his expertise with the same pinpoint accuracy he has on the sports shooting range to ensure efficiency and accuracy in all financial matters.

Paul is a dedicated Accounting Manager, bringing extensive experience in financial statement preparation and tax compliance. He has excelled in leading our trainee accountants to become fully rounded accountants capable of solving problems and providing valuable insights to clients.

With a Bachelor of Commerce in Management Accounting from Stellenbosch University and a Professional Accountant (SA) qualification, Paul is equipped with excellent time management skills and proficient in various accounting software. He is a hardworking and motivated individual, committed to continuous learning and professional growth, just don’t talk to him before his morning coffee.

Charl is a focused and driven financial professional, grounded in strong academic training and practical experience across the accounting landscape. He joined CBS Konsult at the start of 2025 as an Accounting Manager, where he is responsible for managing accounting jobs and ensuring clients benefit from accurate, compliant, and high-quality financial reporting. He holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree from the University of Stellenbosch and completed his postgraduate diploma in Accounting through Milpark Education while finalising his SAICA articles in 2024. Charl brings a solid foundation in financial accounting and regulatory compliance, with a meticulous approach to detail and a deep commitment to professional standards.

He takes pride in building strong, trust-based relationships with both clients and colleagues. His practical mindset and passion for getting the details right make him a valuable part of the CBS Konsult team. Outside of work, Charl enjoys hunting, spending time in nature, tackling mechanical projects, and making memories with family and friends.
